Those M85's are great heads.

A perfect example of blending both beauty and function. The sole plates on the 3 and 4 woods were much heavier (brass) than the aluminum plates on the driver and 2 woods. The brass plates lowered the center of gravity to help get the ball up with purpose, while the driver and 2 wood had an intention of keeping the center of gravity a bit higher up to keep the flight lower and more penetrating.

And I've never tried the C shaft. My '53 Tommy Armours have the NDWS shaft which is a nice stiff shaft so I am hoping these are of similar characteristics.

I am doing a clean out of some old sets... nothing exciting and they arent setup to ABS specs but may be worthy of someones attention and good practice for reshafting bending etc if anyone is interested...

I have 4 sets- see pics.... make an offer- not looking for much... they are just gathering dust in my attic so rather they had a home or a stroll around a course somewhere

I have a set of '69 Split Soles which are at ABS specs - TR1A model, 2-SW. Mike Rees set them up for me replacing the aluminum shafts with Rifle 6.5 shafts and mint grips. I am not using them as I have fallen in love with my Buttonbacks, '57 staffs, and Hogan Precisions.

They have lead down the shaft and on some of the irons the weights have worked loose. Make me an offer.

Looks like the Colokrom 785 set has a True Temper Tourney shaft-- decals are mostly gone but that is what it looks like
The Colokrom set has a differing 6 iron....exactly the sameclub but is a Tourney model ...not the Tourney Colokrom

2 through Split sole wedge, no DS or 11 marking , yellow bumble bee ferrules,
Pro Pel 1 shafts, almost perfect grips,
NO patent pending stamping either;
So what year could they be ?
No bending bar scars, but flat as a “Spanish Globe”.
