A perfect example of blending both beauty and function. The sole plates on the 3 and 4 woods were much heavier (brass) than the aluminum plates on the driver and 2 woods. The brass plates lowered the center of gravity to help get the ball up with purpose, while the driver and 2 wood had an intention of keeping the center of gravity a bit higher up to keep the flight lower and more penetrating.
And I've never tried the C shaft. My '53 Tommy Armours have the NDWS shaft which is a nice stiff shaft so I am hoping these are of similar characteristics.
