Hey Lag, aren't those rocket shafts aluminum though? Or did they make steel ones also?

Thanx, JN

I think I seen a post somewhere and I'm wondering what the Red and Silver labelled shafts are in the MacGregor REG. M-85 irons. There is a Diamond around the R on the label.? Any help would be appreciated.

No, The Green Band Rockets were never aluminum... aluminum didn't come out until much later.

How stiff are the True Temper red band (regular flex) shafts with the diamond around them?

I'm trying to buy another set of colokrom irons and only have experience with the green rocket shafts.

I have a set of Wilson Staffs with TT red band S-Flex shafts. They feel like they are firm and a little heavier than TT DG shafts. I would suspect that the R-flex shafts are pretty much like TT R300 shafts.
